What kind of recipes did the Ancient Egyptians have?
The Ancient Egyptians had all different types of recipes. Here are three of them. Ta'amia, being one of them, is a traditional Egyptian recipe. Ta'amia is bean patties made with dried broad fava beans. They also had a recipe called Tigernut Sweets and that had fresh dates, cinnamon powder, roughly chopped walnuts, finely ground almonds, honey and a little water in them. The last recipe is Ma'moul and the ingredients that were in that recipe is plain flour, butter, orange flower water, roughly chopped walnuts and milk that was for the pastry part and for the filling there was roughly chopped walnuts, chopped figs, orange flower water, cinnamon powder and fine caster sugar.
