Craftspeople made goods for the Egyptian traders who traveled up and down the Nile River and the foreign lands. Most of the Craftspeople and Merchants work depended on the craft that they created. When they created work, for it to be traded they had to depend on the Nile River. They worked in with other craftsmen in shops. Merchants traveled trying to not sell, but trade the goods that the craftspeople had created. Most of the difficulties that the craftspeople had were the quality of their crafts. Craftspeople and Merchants were very well respected. They were paid very well, except not with money with anything they need to survive, ex. food, water. Craftspeople were workers for the Pharaoh, they would work 10 days and then take a day off. These people were only known for their artistic abilities.
